AACPS is in the process of constructing the first new high school to be built in the county since 1982. Crofton Area High School will open for students in grades 9 and 10 in September 2020; and will add grade 11 in 2021-22 and grade 12 in 2022-2023. The $135 million facility is now 25 percent complete and is being constructed just off of Route 424 adjacent to Crofton Middle School. For more information, please click here.
